RICCARDO'S SHOW

Just a word about our upcoming Riccardo's show. Our first show was on September 24, 1999 and we have been performing there for public and private events since. And what you get for $45 per person is unreal - it starts with a cocktail buffet of food ranging from chicken wings to spareribs to sausage and peppers and more that is a meal unto itself. I am all set with January shows. They are all cast, writing has begun, and the first events are birthday parties on January 7 and January 8.

THE SNOW AND SHOW MUST GO ON

Despite blizzards like this one, the rule is the show must go on. On a few occasions, we have had private events rescheduled by the client due to snow. On a few occasions, we have had public events rescheduled due to snow as the venue could not open. I remember one snow storm years ago for a private event where only 10 out of 100 company employees were able to make it to the show. The only time we had a concern was earlier this year when a storm (not a snow storm) knocked over trees, electrical wires, etc. and, after driving under downed trees and wires, we were 1/2 hour late for the show. Over 120 people stayed and we had a great time.

Due to a management change, I just found out last night that The Killing Kompany will no longer be performing at The Knights Inn in Newburgh. I am finalizing out a new venue with another company in New Jersey and hope to find a new venue in the Orange County area. I apologize for any inconvenience and for those who have purchased tickets to our January show that was scheduled for The Knights Inn, I can direct you to another show near by.

We are still not sure of the status of our December 18 show at The Holiday Inn but will post it as soon as we know. Thanksgiving was spent writing shows for December and plots for December public shows were basically completed - assuming the TV series they are based on doesn't have a surprise ending coming up.

The list is endless. It is now over 17 years that The Killing Kompany has written and performed all sorts of interactive events. There have been about 1500. Some of the venues we have performed with we have been with for over 10 years. Some of the actors who still perform with us have been involved in shows since 15 years ago. For all this and more, I am thankful and I say thank you and have a great Thanksgiving!

THE 39 STEPS - CLOSING

We’ve just received news that THE 39 STEPS is closing on January 16, 2011; so unfortunately, we will not be able to issue any more ticket vouchers as prizes at our events. The show has had a fantastic run (3 years!) and we are happy with the successful promotional partnership we have formed in our efforts to help promote THE 39 STEPS. Best of luck to Nicole Pando of HHC Marketing who worked with us on this venture.

Of course, The Killing Kompany shows are still on - 17 years and a new show each time. Our December shows are being written and cast right now.

IT WAS 17 YEARS AGO TOMORROW

The first Killing Kompany show was on November 13, 1993 in Akron, Ohio. I was performing in Amadeus at the Cleveland Music Center that summer and Connie Britton, who I worked with on many occasions, asked me to put together a show for a benefit for Akron General Hospital, of which her mother was a former Board member, for later that year. Starring in that show was, among others, myself, Connie Britton and Susan Aston. Thanks to all who wished a "Happy Birthday"
