JON AVNER FILM ON MARCH 22

A film starring Jon Avner will appear in Long Island at The NY Short Film Concert on March 22 at 8 p.m. at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre. The film is "THE QUALITY OF MERCY", a dark comedy about an Off-Broadway ingénue who gets revenge on The New York Times theater critic who pans her. The film won "Best of Shorts" at the Lake Placid Film Festival in 2002 and aired on HBO starting in 2003. Mary-Louise Parker of "Weeds" co-stars.
