So, when you register the domain “killingcompany.com” - that’s “company” with a C - and have it redirected to your website: you are misleading people that your company is our company. We have received dozens and dozens of complaints about this. People thought they were attending our show or thought they were hiring us. This is not right. If you do good work, you should be rewarded but not based upon our work.
An attorney may tell you that what you did with this URL transfer is create potential exposure to a wide array of federal and state law claims — including trademark infringement, trademark dilution, unfair competition, false designation of origin, unfair trade practices, intentional interference with current and prospective economic advantage, and defamation.
But we are not going to sue – we just ask you to please stop this.
