Mark performed with me for several years - you can see him in the "For Your Island" video. Condolences to his family.

PRESS RELEASE - MURDER MYSTERY DINNER SHOW RETURNS TO MINERALS RESORT & SPA

November 6, 2013.  The Killing Kompany, New York’s leading murder mystery dinner theatre group, makes a return appearance to Minerals Resort & Spa in Vernon, New Jersey with a brand new comedy murder mystery dinner show MURDER BY ELECTION, on Saturday November 16, 2013 at 8pm.

The government gridlock and shutdown is over – for now – but the anger remains. The elections are over and the results lead to murder. So enjoy a night of comedy, dinner, dessert, dancing and mystery! Find out who and why while you enjoy the world of interactive audience participation dinner theatre, where professional actors are seated among you and at any time you may be made part of the show.  That’s right! You don’t have to know any lines or do anything other than just being yourself and have fun but watch out: “evidence” may be created in which you are made a suspect.  And for only $85 per person, you’ll not only get to dine, drink and dance but you get a mystery show where you can solve the murder and match wits with the detective. Of course, prizes will be awarded to the winners. 

THE KILLING KOMPANY is now in its 20th year and has performed a brand new show each time all over the country, at casinos, restaurants, hotels, for the public and major corporations and charity benefits. As actors, they have appeared on Broadway and on stages all over the country, in your favorite films and TV shows, on radio and in print.

This was from a Bar Mitzvah we did in 2010 and it can be found at this blog which wrote:

" Remember that I said that my son hates to dance? (Too many Barclay Dance lessons in his youth?) A DJ was out. A friend recommended a murder mystery by The Killing Kompany . They’re based in NY but they cover the whole tri-state area. Five actors mingled with the guests and put on the funniest show between courses. They involved people from every table, turning the lamest responses into witty repartee. Nothing was the least embarrassing (well, except for one young man who had an encounter with the vamp – I hope he’s not traumatized for life – I think I’ll give his mother the video clip of it for his wedding.)

Great food and novel entertainment aimed at the entire family (not just the kids) made this the best party ever. I’ll write more on the details later but this was definitely a winning formula."
